Cervical Screening - NHS Digital
Problem.
Replacing an 1980’s terminal system that handles the complete cervical screening service across England.
I was the lead designer across 4 teams whilst mentoring several graduate designers. I was able to take an antique system and bring it firmly into the right century using the NHS Design system.
The bulk of my work on this project was designing from scratch and convincing stakeholders about the methods of user centered design.
Solution.
Dealing with difficult stakeholders and a challenging infrastructure we were able to convince users to use our new service.
I was able to create a solution from scratch for the notification system that is used to invite people for their screening and record test results and follow ups.
